I'm interested in hardware and embedded systems for real-time, autonomous and safety-critical applications.
What I Build
Microcontroller-based systems, custom PCBs, and practical full-stack hardware projects with emphasis on reliability, iteration, and clean implementation.
Professional Experience
Electronics Intern
Hikari Medical Technologies
2025 - Current
Led hardware architecture, design, and validation as the sole hardware engineer for a light-based drug dosing and monitoring device.
Designed and iterated 10+ custom 2-layer PCBs in KiCad, shrinking footprints from 40x80 mm to as small as 20x20 mm while expanding from one to two optical channels.
Architected buck/boost power systems and ESP32-based hardware with 1-2 W LED drivers and sensitive photodiode circuitry, optimizing layout to minimize noise coupling.
Managed fabrication, assembly, bring-up, debugging, and validation; developed test platforms used in successful preclinical animal studies and contributed ESP32 firmware for BLE and hardware-software integration.
